DESTASHING! ~Bernat Yarn~

Another one of my New Year’s resolutions was to organize and de-clutter my craft room. Get rid of things that I know I’ll never use and pass them on to someone who could put them to better usage.

Going through my yarn stash now and so far I’ve come across a few Bernat yarns.

DESTASHING! ~First Steps in Knitting~

First Steps in Knitting by Mary Thomas

DESTASH! ~First Steps in Knitting~
Traded! Thank you!

Purchased at Pat Catan’s for $8.95 when I was first starting to learn how to knit.
Book is in great shape, just has a little sticky goo on the front cover from the price tag. Just trying to clean out some clutter in my craft room and get rid of things I know I’ll never use.

Will swap for either sock yarn, sock knitting book, or fabric. Either post a comment in the comment section or email me (multicrafty at gmail dot com). Thank you!

*Pending* DESTASHING! – One Skein Book

One Skein by Leigh Radford

One Skein Book

Amazon.com price is $13.57 Purchased at KnitPicks for $12.97
Book is in brand new condition.
This book is only up for swap/trade.

Looking for either Last Minute Knitted Gifts or Knitting Vintage Socks (really want on of these two books right now.) Or any other sock knitting book. (Yes, I’m now officially obsessed with knitting socks)

Reason for getting rid of this book: The baby projects are really cute but my girls are to big for them. Only project I really like in it is the knitting cupcakes. I was debating back and forth between Last Minute Knitted Gifts and One Skein and I wish I would’ve got the Knitted gifts book. Plus I have the book One Skein Wonders and like the projects in there better.

If interested (or if you have Last Minute Knitted Gifts or Knitting Vintage Socks and want to swap with something else I have, yes I have more destashing going on just haven’t gotten around to taking/posting photos of everything) please send me an email (multicrafty at gmail dot com) or leave a comment in the comment section.

Thank you!

Another sock in progress

I’m beginning to notice that my knitting goes back and forth between my 2 girls. What I mean is that I “take turns” on who I’m making what for. First K. gets something handmade by me, then L., then K., then L., then K., then L., …………………..and it goes on. I still have not yet made a hat for me, or a scarf for me, a few sewn tops yes, but nothing knitwear wise for myself. Although I’d love to be able to sit there and knit a sweater or a hat for me.

So, I got L.’s socks all done and took a little break from knitting. Then picked up those darn needles again and started with K.’s sock. Same pattern as L.’s just the larger size. Yarn is some Bernat Baby yarn that my Mom gave to me a while ago. While I know it won’t hold up for long wear, I figure she can wear them around the house to keep her tootsies warm this winter. I have only the first sock done right now and am working on the second.

One down One to go
Hope everyone had a very blessed weekend!
