snow day

I can’t believe how much snow we’ve gotten over the weekend. It all looks so beautiful, but driving in it is the real pain. I don’t mind snow, as long as I’m nice and snuggled up in my warm home. It changes everything, makes everything look beautiful if you ask me. I’ve noticed that the snow gives photos a nice “blank background”. You don’t see the mess of toys laying out in the yard (because they have been buried) or the fact that the grass needs weeded and cut.
Maybe it’s just all part of the beauty of living here in Ohio. Getting to enjoy all 4 seasons. I couldn’t imagine living in places where people have never seen snow.
And oh to be a kid again, playing out in the snow for hours on end. Making snow angels, forts, sled riding, eating the snow (ew!), and just enjoying it in general.

4 seasons is nice! I agree… and I love love how white everything gets and the whole world just looks so clean. The great thing about snow is that light bounces off and it feels brighter out than it actually is. We are gaining daylight now.. so excited! Love the pic of your little angel. Your camera is taking some great photos… must be the operator
