summer vacation

That is what I’ll be on.  A lot of things have happened around here, some good, some bad, nothing I want to talk about.  I need time to re-collect my thoughts, focus on whats in front of me, and put the worst behind us and the best in front of us.  Life is a tricky thing sometimes, and while K. is on summer vacation, I figure now is the perfect time for me to take a little vacation of my own from this blog (I’ve lost my mojo somewhere along the line).

So, I’ll leave this space for the time being, and leave you with my favorite picture of L., taken sometime last week when we had the sprinkler going under the trampoline.

Oh I tell ya, the faces that girl makes cracks me up.

Almost finished with my cardigan!

New camera strap slip cover!

(don’t mind my pissy look, damn sun was in my eyes)

New head scarf (from the book Weekend Sewing), and yes, in the same fabric as my camera strap. I figure their not to matchy matchy if I flip the fabrics around. (Fabrics used about are both from fat quarters from JoAnns)

New purple skirt (similar to the one I made for K. for her b~day) for L.  Used fabric that the awesome Lisa sent me, as well as fabric from my stash.

As well as a little head scarf for L. (just altered the pattern a bit to fit her head).
