How things change

My Friday nights are different now. Before kids it was my party night, after working a long week at a minimum wage job I looked forward to going out until the announcement of “last call”.

But now, well now I enjoy curling up on the couch with knitting in my hands. Watching and listening to my girls play Harry Potter Clue and arguing over if they should save Ron or Hermione. Topping the night off with The Great Monster Hunt and kissing two babes good night before returning to my curled up spot on the couch.

If I can get over my fear of snipping into handknits I can add some buttons. Finished the knitting part just in time for my 30th (holy jeezy….I cannot even type that, let’s try that again) My first 29th anniversary birthday….there that’s better! But it has been sitting there taunting me. Need to channel my inner EZ to add afterthought button holes then my favorite project to date will be finito!
