This one’s for the girls

Seems like I’ve been working and working on L.’s sweater with no “results”.  Finally last night I was able to actually sit and work on it till my fingers starting cramping.  I got the second sleeve down and now it’s starting to look like a sweater.

And why not keep this knitting thing going than with another project.  After all, if one girl gets something, the other one has to as well.

The pattern is Little Boy Blue (or Little Girl Pink as I’ll be calling it from here on out) from the book Twelve Months of Knitting.  Which, I might add that it was super easy to order it from Knit Picks.  All I had to do was choose the yarn and K.’s size and it told me how much yarn was needed.  But I bought an extra skein of it just to be on the safe side.

After all that is complete, I’ll need to start working on winter hats for all of us, plus the other knitting WIPs I have going on.  And no luck on trying to get James to learn how to knit either.  Eventually one day though, I’ll have that man picking up those sticks and knittin’ me up something.  But for now, I’m perfectly content knitting goodies for my family.
