baby it’s cold outside

dsc00257What is it about that first real snowfall that seems to be magical?  Making you want to bust out the snowsuit, boots, hats, gloves, mittens, 2 shirts (one being short sleeve, the other long sleeve), 1 sweatshirt, and a Carhartt jacket all to just make a snow angel.

Theres just something about laying in snow with snowflakes kissing your face that makes you feel like a child (I’m speaking for myself, whom after I snapped this pic of L., joined right along with her).

Here’s to a long winter, hot chocolate, coffee, soups and stews, cuddling on the couch under a blanket, slippers, layers of clothes (we live in an old house & it gets pretty cold in here), and taking time to make snow angels with my babes.
