winter blahs

While the days might be getting longer, the end of snow is no where to be seen.  Even that damn groundhog had to go and see his shadow!  It’s been getting warmer out now – we hit a high of 38 degrees this past weekend, but at night, after that nice 38 degree sun melts a little bit of snow, it becomes all nice and icy by morning.  No fun walking out to get the paper as this is usually the time of year when I when I fall flat on my tooshie.

But on the upside, there’s sled riding, snow mushing, and making footprints in the snow.

(big icy snow chunk she found)

(the only spot in our yard that didn’t have little snow tracked foot prints)

(went out with jammie pants on yesterday, it was actually pretty warm out)

While February may be the shortest month, those 28 days seem to last forever!

I was just thinking today about the blah’s. The sun was shining and I couldn’t be a part of it.. I hope the weekend is nice and sunny since I have to be in the office during sunshine hours! Love your pics. Your girls are so cute. and I esp like the shadow one, very sweet 🙂
